Site for hiking and mapping enthusiasts. I’ve always wondered what the northernmost or centrally located places were in any geographically defined areas, be it NYC or Alaska. News about ‘50 completers” and reports of such hikes about climbing the tops of each state are fascinating.
2: Manhattan Neighborhood Network
Public-access cable TV for the Borough of Manhattan. Watch from anywhere at www.mnn.org I love the programming on some nights and overnights.

5: Acoustic Live
Acoustic gigs in the NY/NJ/CT area
6: Sporting life: Sports and gambling oriented site based in the UK. Great audio coverage of live and same-day events covering all sports. When I can’t follow live audio of some horse racing or football(soccer) event, I will go here. http://www.sportinglife.com/
7: One of my favorite bloggers, Marissa of Sacramento @ The Forest Green:
8: Earth TV. One of those webcam sites. NO, NOT one of those sites.
9 : Bullz-Eye: Online men’s mag http://www.bullz-eye.com/ Tons of good stuff, all sorts of vices, catering to the males of the world
10: AMG The All-Music Guide
Just about the best guide of its kind on the Web
